Silent Mosaic-Sessiz Mozaik

Silent Mosaic is an original relief painting from my Living Textures series. Created from high-density foam, the surface is hand-carved, reinforced with multiple mineral layers, painted with acrylic colors, and protected with a matte varnish. The artwork transforms an ordinary material into a richly textured, durable artistic surface.

The composition is built from hundreds of small geometric forms that create a rhythmic visual structure. Although arranged in an organized grid, each element is individually shaped and painted by hand, giving the work subtle variations in texture, depth, and color. These small differences create a quiet sense of movement and remind us that even within order, individuality remains.

The changing tones of violet and black invite contemplation. Rather than representing a specific object or place, the artwork explores harmony, repetition, balance, and the silent energy found within structured forms. As light moves across the relief surface, the composition constantly changes, revealing new details and shadows.

Like all artworks in the Living Textures collection, Silent Mosaic celebrates the transformation of simple materials into expressive contemporary art through patience, craftsmanship, and imagination.

Sessiz Mozaik, Living Textures serime ait özgün bir rölyef tablodur. Yüksek yoğunluklu sert strafordan el işçiliğiyle şekillendirilmiş, çok katmanlı mineral kaplamalarla güçlendirilmiş, akrilik boyalarla renklendirilmiş ve mat koruyucu vernikle tamamlanmıştır. Günlük bir malzeme, dokulu ve kalıcı sanatsal bir yüzeye dönüştürülmüştür.

Kompozisyon, yüzlerce küçük geometrik formun oluşturduğu ritmik bir yapıdan meydana gelir. Düzenli bir ızgara sistemi içinde yer almalarına rağmen her bir bölüm elde tek tek şekillendirilmiş ve boyanmıştır. Bu nedenle her parça kendine özgü küçük farklılıklar taşır ve eser, düzen içinde bile bireyselliğin var olabileceğini hatırlatır.

Mor ve siyah tonlarının oluşturduğu geçişler izleyiciyi dingin bir görsel deneyime davet eder. Eser belirli bir nesneyi betimlemek yerine; uyum, tekrar, denge ve dokunun sessiz gücünü araştırır. Rölyef yüzey, ışığın geliş açısına göre sürekli değişen gölgeler oluşturarak her bakışta yeni ayrıntılar sunar.

Living Textures serisinin tüm eserlerinde olduğu gibi Sessiz Mozaik, sıradan malzemelerin sabır, el işçiliği ve hayal gücüyle çağdaş sanat eserlerine dönüşebileceğini göstermeyi amaçlar.
