Silent King-Sessiz Kral (MiniSeries)

The King Beneath the Eagle is a dual-figure wall relief composed of found wood elements. The eagle occupies the upper plane, while beneath it stands a crowned king with a stern gaze. The eagle symbolizes vision and guardianship; the king embodies earthly authority and decision. Natural cracks and textures speak of power enduring through time and erosion.

Description (additional note / curatorial observation) 

When light strikes the figure from an upper side angle, the king’s brow and nose emerge with striking clarity.

This effect is not the result of any artistic intervention, but of the wood’s natural form and erosion interacting with light.

The figure reveals itself through illumination—remaining silent, yet undeniably present. 

Kartalın Altındaki Kral, doğadan olduğu gibi alınmış ahşapların oluşturduğu çift figürlü bir duvar rölyefidir. Üstte kartal formu; altta tacı belirgin, sert bakışlı kral profili yer alır. Kartal görüşü ve koruyucu gücü simgelerken, kral dünyevi otoriteyi temsil eder. Doğal çatlaklar ve yüzey izleri, iktidarın zamana ve aşınmaya rağmen ayakta kalışını anlatır. 

Açıklama (ek not / küratoryal gözlem) 

Kral figürünün yüzü, yan üstten gelen ışıkla birlikte kaş ve burun hattını belirginleştirir.

Bu etki, sanatçı tarafından yapılmış herhangi bir müdahale sonucu değil; ahşabın kendi formu ve doğal aşınmasının ışıkla kurduğu ilişkiden doğar.

Figür, ışık değiştikçe ortaya çıkar; sessizliğini bozmaz ama varlığını dayatır.
