Silent Passage-Sessiz Geçit

Silent Passage is an original contemporary wooden sculpture from my Artwood collection. Inspired by human journeys, hope, and the symbolic passage between the known and the unknown, this artwork reflects the quiet strength of people moving together toward light and new beginnings.

The sculpture is entirely handcrafted from carefully selected reclaimed wood. Every wooden element preserves its natural grain, texture, and history, transforming discarded material into a unified artistic composition. Each figure is individually shaped and positioned, creating a silent community gathered beneath an open gateway that symbolizes opportunity, renewal, and transformation.

The architectural form rising above the figures represents a passage rather than a destination. It invites viewers to reflect on personal journeys, collective memory, and the courage required to move beyond visible boundaries. Light plays an essential role in the artwork, continuously changing the appearance of the textures and reinforcing the feeling of movement and hope.

Like every artwork in the Artwood collection, Silent Passage is entirely handmade, signed by the artist, one of a kind, and impossible to reproduce exactly.

Sessiz Geçit, Artwood koleksiyonuma ait özgün bir ahşap heykel çalışmasıdır. İnsan yolculuklarından, umuttan ve bilinen ile bilinmeyen arasındaki sembolik geçişten ilham alan eser, birlikte ilerleyen insanların sessiz gücünü ve yeni başlangıçlara duyulan inancı anlatır.

Eser, özenle seçilmiş geri kazanılmış doğal ahşap parçalarından tamamen el işçiliğiyle oluşturulmuştur. Her ahşap parça kendi doğal dokusunu, liflerini ve geçmişini korurken, bir araya gelerek ortak bir görsel bütünlük oluşturur. Her figür tek tek şekillendirilmiş ve yerleştirilmiş; üst bölümde yükselen geçit formu ise umut, dönüşüm ve yeni olasılıkların simgesi olarak tasarlanmıştır.

Bu geçit belirli bir yeri değil, yaşam boyunca karşılaşılan değişimleri ve cesaret gerektiren yeni adımları temsil eder. Işık ve gölge, ahşabın doğal dokusunu sürekli farklı biçimlerde ortaya çıkararak esere yaşayan bir karakter kazandırır.

Sessiz Geçit, Artwood koleksiyonundaki tüm eserler gibi tamamen el yapımı, imzalı, tek ve özgün bir sanat eseridir. Aynısı yeniden üretilemez.
